PROCEDURE MANUAL

The purpose of this manual is to explain various procedures to first-time operators so that the Owner does not have to answer the same questions over and over many times.


Explanations are generally short and sweet without much complexity. Easy to understand is the goal. Self-education is encouraged.


Please take the time to read those procedures which might be needed for your assigned job. If you have not a clue what your assigned job will be, focus on everything a road crew does. Thus, Conductor (CN) and Engineer (EN) and Inter-room Protocol would be good places to start. Next best would be the Switcher Crew (SC) and Logging Crew (LC) and Hostler (HS) procedures.
